Turn Times
A proof is created and emailed to you within 2 business days of receiving print-ready art. Production will begin once we have your final approval. Production time varies depending on the product and quantity. Most custom jobs are completed in 5-7 business days from the order date.
Rush Orders
If your order needs to ship within four business days of receiving your purchase order and print-ready artwork, please contact your sales representative for rush availability and applicable fees.
Shipping
Custom orders are shipped via FedEx unless otherwise specified. Shipping times vary based on location and shipping method. Expedited shipping services are available and may be required to meet your requested delivery date.
LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments are available for large volume orders. The carrier used will be determined based on options required (e.g. – lift gate service for businesses without a loading dock) and your requested delivery date. Customers may choose to use their own shipping account to ship orders. Please provide your shipping account information with your purchase order.
We are not responsible for orders lost or damaged in shipment. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Changes in shipping method must be requested in writing.
Blind/Drop Shipments
All orders will be shipped as a blind/drop shipment unless otherwise requested. Split shipments may be subject to additional charges.
F.O.B. Point
F.O.B. Our manufacturing facility in North Carolina, unless otherwise specified.
Large Quantity Orders
Magnet America has the capability to produce large quantities, custom shapes and sizes. To receive a quote on an item and/or quantity not found in our catalog, please contact your sales representative.
Minimum Quantities
There is a minimum quantity requirement for customized products. The minimum quantity varies based on the type of product you order. Please contact your sales representative for pricing on quantities not listed in our catalog. We can accommodate orders below our published minimums as well as quantities above our publicly listed pricing.
Non-Standard Quantities
Orders for quantities between standard catalog quantities will be priced at the lower quantity price. (For Example: If the price breaks are at 50 pieces and 125 pieces and the order is for 51-124 pieces, this order will receive the 50 piece price)
Cancellations
Orders cancelled before the first proof is created will not incur a cancellation fee.
Orders cancelled after a proof has been created may be subject to a cancellation fee based on the status of the order.
Orders with no activity for 45 days will be considered cancelled.
Overruns
Due to standard manufacturing processes, the exact quantity of a shipment may be increased by 5% for orders less than 1000 pieces, and by 2% for orders more than 1000 pieces. These adjusted totals will constitute a complete order and will be billed accordingly.
Payment Terms
All payments must be made in U.S. funds only. Payment must be arranged before production begins. Payment methods are as follows:
Credit Card – We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. All orders will be charged or invoiced upon shipment to ensure accuracy and account for any overages or underages.
ACH – We accept ACH payments. To pay by ACH, you must complete an ACH Authorization Form, which will allow our Accounting Department to initiate the transaction.
Secure Payment Link – Upon request, we can provide a secure payment link for convenient online payment. Payment must be received before the order enters production.
Payment Portal – Customers may pay online through our Manage Orders portal, where they can also view order status. Payments can be made at any time after logging into the portal. If you choose this payment method and do not have payment information saved to your account, payment must be completed before the order enters production.
Net 30 – Available upon approved credit. Past-due accounts are subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month.
Check – Customers who are not approved for Net 30 terms may pay by check. Orders will not enter production or ship until payment has been received.
Printing Process
Digital: Our standard process is a digital printing process. The printing equipment used is selected based on the requirements of each project. While we make every effort to match PMS colors as closely as possible, perfect color matches cannot be guaranteed.
Screen Printing: We also offer screen printing as an option. This method also offers a great range of colors and a glossy finish to the final product. Pricing is calculated per color, may include additional fees, and typically requires a longer production time. If this method is desired, please ask for your special quote.
Other: Other methods of printing may be used depending on size of order, colors required, and your requested delivery date. If necessary, these options will be discussed during the quoting process and determined before the order is placed.
Materials
Magnetic Material – Our magnetic material is manufactured with a magnetic backing featuring a satin-coated finish and a matte-finish vinyl face. Standard thicknesses of .020” and .030” can be used on any metal surface, and are proudly manufactured in the USA. We also offer a high gloss clear laminate suitable for indoor use and gloss or matte laminate suitable for indoor or outdoor use (a special quote will be required). Other thicknesses are available for special orders. These will require a special quote and may necessitate a longer turn time.
Decal Material – Our standard decal is a white matte flexible calendared PVC vinyl available in a permanent or repositionable adhesive. We also offer glossy decal, 6mil decal, repositionable decal, and holographic decal options as well. Other options are available for special orders. These include convex, holographic glitter, and silver. These materials are kept in stock and will require a special quote and may necessitate a longer turn time.
Cling Material – Our cling material is made of 7mil vinyl static cling in both clear and white options. This product is a self-clinging film, which requires no adhesive, applies quickly to most smooth polished surfaces and is easily removed.
Buttons - Our buttons are manufactured using high-quality USA-made steel components and feature a full-color printed insert protected by a clear mylar cover or soft touch lamination for enhanced durability and a professional finish. Standard button sizes are available with a durable pin-back, magnet back, or badge back attachment. Backing options depend on the size and shape ordered. Larger quantities ordered may require additional production time.
Lamination – We offer a variety of lamination options to enhance the appearance and functionality of your product. Outdoor applications can be protected with our matte or gloss laminations. Indoor applications may benefit from specialty laminations such as dry-erase, High Gloss (Opti Clear), or soft touch. Please contact your sales representative for pricing, as lamination options require a special quote.
