Turn Times

A proof is created and emailed to you within 3 business days of receiving print-ready art. Production will begin once we have your final approval. Production time varies depending on the product and quantity. Most custom jobs are completed in 10 business days from order date.

Rush Orders

If your order needs to ship within 7 business days or less of our receiving the purchase order and artwork, please contact your sales representative to get rush fees.

Shipping

Custom orders are shipped via FedEx unless otherwise specified. Shipping times vary based on location and shipping method. Expedited shipping services are available and may be required to meet your need date.

LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments are available for large volume orders. The carrier used will be determined based on options required (e.g. – Lift Gate for businesses without a dock) and need date. Customers may choose to use their own shipping account to ship orders. Please provide your shipping account information with your purchase order.

We are not responsible for orders lost or damaged in shipment. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Changes in shipping method must be requested in writing.

Blind/Drop Shipments

All orders will be shipped as a blind/drop shipment unless otherwise requested. Split shipments may incur additional charges.

F.O.B. Point

F.O.B. is from our plant in North Carolina, unless manufacturing schedule designates otherwise.

Large Quantity Orders

Magnet America has the capability of producing large quantities, unique shapes and sizes. To receive a quote on an item and/or quantity not found in our catalog, please contact your sales representative.

Minimum Quantities

There is a minimum quantity requirement for customized products. The minimum quantity varies based on the type of product you are ordering (typically, 50 pieces for non-car door magnets). Please call your sales representative for details and pricing on orders of low quantities.

Non-Standard Quantities

Orders for quantities between standard catalog quantities will be priced at the lower quantity price.

Cancellations

- There will be no cancellation charges if the order is cancelled before the first proof is created.

- A fee will be applied if an order is cancelled after a proof has been created. The amount of the fee may vary based on the type/status of an order.

- Orders will be considered “cancelled” after 45 days of inactivity.

Overruns

Due to our commitment to quality, the exact quantity of a shipment may be increased by 5% for orders less than 1000 pieces, and by 2% for orders more than 1000 pieces. These adjusted totals will constitute a complete order and will be billed accordingly.

Payment Terms

All payments must be made in US funds only.  Payment must be arranged before production of order.  Methods are as follows:

Credit Card -  We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.  All orders will be charged/invoiced upon shipment to ensure accuracy and account for overages/underages.

Net 30 - Subject to credit approval.  Overdue accounts are subject to a  service charge of 1.5% per month.

Check - Customers not on Net 30 terms may pay by check, but the order will not be produced or shipped until payment is received.

Printing Process

Digital: Our standard printing process is a digital, 4-color process printing method. This process uses cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks to provide a great range of colors and eliminates the need to charge extra fees for set up or to match colors. All PMS colors printed will be simulated using the CMYK process. We will make every effort to match PMS colors as closely as possible, however, perfect color matches cannot be guaranteed.

Screen Printing: We also offer screen printing as an option. This method also offers a great range of colors and a glossy finish to the final product. Pricing is calculated per color, may require extra fees, and will necessitate a longer turn time. If this method is desired, please ask for your special quote.

Other: Other methods of printing may be used depending on size of order, colors required, and need date. If necessary, these options will be discussed during the quoting process and determined before the order is placed.

Materials

Magnet – Our magnetic material is made of a matte finish vinyl with a magnetic backing with a satin coated finish. Standard thicknesses of .020” and .030”, can be used on any metal surface, and are proudly manufactured in the USA. We also offer a high gloss clear laminate suitable for indoor use and gloss or matte laminate suitable for indoor or outdoor use (a special quote will be required). Other thickness are available for special orders. These will require a special quote and may necessitate a longer turn time.

Decal – Our standard decal is a white matte flexible calendared PVC vinyl available in a permanent or removable adhesive. We also offer a glossy flexible calendared PVC permanent adhesive vinyl (a special quote will be required). Other options are available for special orders. These will require a special quote and may necessitate a longer turn time.
